We are in the process of re-insulating our house with mostly open-cell foam.

Our house has been poorly insulated for some time and several of the rooms have been uncomfortable at various times of the year. Going through this process will make our house tighter, reduce our carbon footprint, and save energy and money! With the tax credits available and saving an estimated 40% on our energy bill, we will have it paid back in about 5 years.

This will also mean that we will be able to properly size our new furnace for the house when that time comes. Which should also save us money because we are not have to compensate for a leaky house!
